The idea of an article designed to fit one body absolutely thrills me. It's not often in our age that something functional is approached with such care and singularity as this. Most of the inspiration for my pencil and ink drawings comes from fashion photography--images that I find in W magazine or from European fashion magazines online. The photographers that I love, love fashion too. Nan Goldin is the only name that comes to mind for me right now, but there are others. The image above is one that Georges Damdier took in 1955.
